Yesterday we tagged along on the photoshoot for the new building at Lee Elementary School.
Big ideas are born in bright and innovative learning spaces, and this light-filled, flexible classroom building exceeds some of the loftiest goals of 21st-century learning. The sliding wall provides endless learning possibilities – two separate classrooms for different lesson plans or one impressive space for full community engagement. Both sides feature abundant windows, a variety of seating, and multiple cozy nooks for focused study groups. Open hallways lined with interior and exterior windows accentuate the airiness of the building, and cheerful blue hues connect all the spaces.
Built around the heritage trees, the giant windows in the art and music classrooms offer a bounty of light, an endless supply of inspiration, and exciting new spaces to create. Open hallways lined with interior and exterior windows accentuate the airiness of the building, and cheerful blue hues connect all the spaces. We can’t wait to see this building come to life with happy students this fall.
