GSC Architects served as JP Morgan Chase Bank’s primary architect for branches in west, south central and southwest Texas and has designed over 25 inline branches and 6 non-prototypical free-standing branches ranging from 1,000 to 5,200 square feet. Additionally, GSC regionalized a national prototype to suit Texas climatic needs and various sites. This prototype has led to the design of over 130 freestanding branches. Standard services for each project included: Due Diligence for each site, including environmental site assessments, surveys, code analysis, site feasibility and zoning; Coordination with adjacent landowners; Construction Documents; Construction Administration, including dry utility coordination; and Redesign of exterior facade for local design requirements/development criteria if needed.
GSC Architects was responsible for JP Morgan Chase’s nationwide LEED® design, including options for Gold and Platinum branches. As a direct result, GSC has designed three LEED® Silver certified branch banks and one registered for LEED® with a certification goal of Silver.
