AUSTIN TX | 11,859 SF
Originally built in 1971, Anderson High School has seen tremendous growth in its Career Technology programs completely outgrew the existing classroom space. To help support this expansive program, a new 11,859 SF Applied Technology Building was constructed on the east side of the campus and serves all Austin Independent School District campuses north of the river. The new learning spaces created include welding, painting, woodworking, a CNC shop, an engineering design lab, computer lab, electronics lab, and the facility itself received many associated site improvements. The project meets the Austin Energy Green Building 2-Star rating requirements. The campus remained fully occupied and operational during the construction of this 21st century learning style facility.
