GSC’s interior design team achieved their goal of reflecting Nexstar Digital’s creative edge in their new space in the new Mirabeau Building, also designed by GSC Architects. GSC incorporated bold colors and geometric shapes in the angled reception area that both enhances the design aesthetic and simultaneously directs employees and visitors into the workplace. To encourage camaraderie, GSC created a lively All Hands space on the third level that contains a custom digital viewing hub and colorful mural wall. Many structural elements were left exposed and often utilized as design features, like the bright citrine bracing in one of the conference rooms that coordinates with the accents in the carpet. Making the most of the open ceilings, acoustical baffles radiate from the lighting fixtures into the open workspace in order to enhance sound quality. This energetic workspace has playful pops of color around every corner and to spark creativity among the people who use it.
