The RRISD Westside Transportation Center replaced the existing Westside Transportation facility located on the high school campus site. The new facility was designed to provide parking for 145 buses and 190 cars for staff. This facility has fueling stations for District vehicles and a 30,000 gallon, above ground fuel storage tank. A bus wash was provided for the maintenance and cleaning of the district vehicles. The facility has six vehicle maintenance bays, staff offices and training rooms.

The Westside Transportation Center was the first of three RRISD facilities to be constructed in the Pearson Ranch Road and FM North 620 area. Working with RRISD and the consultants for Elsa England Elementary School and Pearson Ranch Middle School, we collaborated on the construction schedule for subsurface utilities to serve all projects and the completion of Pearson Ranch Road. Water, wastewater, storm and gas lines were sized and installed to serve the Transportation Center and the schools in the future.
