AUSTIN TX | 380,000 SF
GSC is actively engaged in transforming a former Motorola manufacturing site known then as the Ed Bluestein Campus. That campus was Motorola’s original Austin campus built and expanded over three decades to serve its semiconductor products group. A large area of the campus was decommissioned and positioned for redevelopment in 2009. The current development group has achieved approval for renovation and entitlements for new construction adjacent to the soon-to-be-completed 183 South Expressway. The first building phase is repurposing the existing south campus buildings F, H, and J as a technical campus – TECH 3443. That first phase is approximately 375,000 SF of office and research space scheduled to be delivered in three segments starting in early 2021. GSC is currently providing design, planning, construction phase services, and tenant finish services to support this massive redevelopment.
